To say we've won more games than last year is comparing apples to oranges. This isn't the same team as last year in any way. That's like praising Coach Pry for winning more games after winning 3 the year before. "How could anyone complain about winning 6 games when we only won 3 the year before?!?" I really like this team and our coach. And I believe they can win a lot of games (as was expected before the season started). But again, to say "we've had some close losses" ignores the fact that they shouldn't have even been close at the end. The blown leads...some of which were large leads...are kinda relevant. It's like me in some of my high school classes when I just had to get a C to pass, started with an A and ended up getting a D+. I guess you could praise me for being so very close to passing! Again, we still can make the NCAA tournament....which, this season (even without TL) should be the floor for this team.
