Those almost always end up correct by the end of the season. RPI is literally the worst metric because it only looks at win/losses of you and your opponents + their opponents. Our predictive metrics suck because of what everyone sees when they watch, a streaky and inefficient team who has trouble scoring at times and gives up a lot of fluky baskets. Our strength of record and KPI are quite good because we’re winning close games, but we’ve seen that trend start to reverse vs Wake and Stanford which tells me the predictive metrics are spot on.
