Young made it clear that he has emphasized these things ALL season in practice.
I rewatched the final 4:18 and you will see just as much bad luck, as you will poor coaching. Everything went right for Stanford. That happens 6/1000 times.
We had mental collapses in areas that we were extremely likely too, given Lawal had been out. For instance, you will see him losing his man in transition who then hit a wide open three.
Avdalas and Lawal both went to the same man, a sign that someone hasn’t played since November! A perfect curation of these minor lapses, followed by the basketball gods blessings, and Stanford proved the impossible to be possible.
