In the first one, Dorn put his forearm into the back of the Bryant player and then extended upward. Kinda like an old-school "forearm shiver" that I was taught to do in football, but it was in the back of the player. In the second one, Dorn had his elbow extended and as he moved toward the basket, his elbow/forearm landed in the back of the head of the Bryant player. Both were legitimate calls, IMO. They weren't outrageous, dirty-looking plays to me. I don't know if the interpretation of the rules are different here vs what he is used to in Germany, but he will get called for this every time here, I think.
