He's already announced he's coming back to Tech if he doesn't go pro.

Which means he's happy with the amount of money that VT has allotted him. If he happens to stay in the NBA Draft (which is extremely unlikely) then that money will be released, and if anybody is in the portal worth that much money on May 29, then we'll go after them. Right now Tech is counting Lawal's allotted money as already being spent.
