As a coach, all you ask for is consistency
The players have to know how the game will be officiated. Teams without much of a bench want very few fouls called, while deep teams prefer it to be called tight, because it gets the opponent’s bench in the game.

They let WAY too much contact go. When refs then call actual contact fouls
