The two towns can hardly agree on what day it is.
Blacksburg is extremely liberal and Christiansburg is extremely conservative.
Blacksburg constantly battles VT and really isn’t a business friendly place. Christiansburg welcomes just about all new businesses.
There are dingbats or the equivalent on each town council, but I think Christiansburg does a better job of trying to keep things moving where Blacksburg winds up delaying or effectively filibustering a lot of stuff.
