A necessity to play him does not equal being ahead of schedule. He is very much still learning and running like a newborn deer The improvement is that he can show flashes of what can be. And I'm glad they're getting him work now to prep for the future. But he also now has 2 players behind him in Jones and Gurdak who are much further along in their development at the same stage in their careers, so he either needs to start realizing his potential or move somewhere he will continue to be a necessity
