The "specific circumstance that caused it" was Wake Forest finally started missing 3s. I thought VT's playmaking, shotmaking, etc. was consistent throughout. Tech just had to wait for Wake forest to cool down. Edit: At one point in the second half, the Hokies got BLAZING hot. That was also a "specific circumstance."
