Cattoor isn’t playing. At least based on what MY is saying right now. Beekman is still the best defensive guard in the nation. Biggest issue right now is Harris is hurt (backup PG) so Bennett is forced to play Beekman a bunch. Tech plays a similar pace as opposed to wake and Nc State. Pedulla doesn’t guard well and I can see Beekman taking him off the dribble, a lot. Kidd is going to score against Buchannan, Dunn, Minor and Groves but uva is not doubling post. Techs wings don’t create offense, and neither do UVAs but UVAs at least have some creation aspect to them. Mckneely and Rohde are good at finding the midrange. I think Dunn has a good game, tech doesn’t have any remotely as athletic at the position. Long is close but dunn is just bigger and quicker. Uva should win just because they are at home. 62-55 is what I would say. It is going to be a grind it out type game. Would go the flip when it’s at Tech. Also think uva is due. Shots haven’t fallen in recent games, they will eventually, whether it’s weds or sometime in the future.
