Time adapting to the transfer world and NIL world that is now college basketball. At the same time, while the teams haven’t been quite as dominant, Bennetts last 6 teams have finished 2018 1st ACC 2019 1st ACC (national title) 2020 2nd ACC 2021 1st ACC 2022 6th ACC 2023 1st ACC Obviously the 6th place finish is a major outlier and this years team isn’t looking great. But it’s a pretty small sample to conclude that Bennett won’t be able to adapt. I think things will start to revert to pre-covid times after next season as all the 6th year players are out of college basketball. It has really screwed up the game to have 18 year olds play against 25 year olds. I think you will see Mike Young’s results get better as he gets back to a more even playing field at least in terms of age and physicality of players.
