It'd be unfair to expect him to be sharp, but who knows?
I always remember the 1996 World Series. Game 1 got pushed back by rain, then Andy Pettitte started Game 1 on a full week's rest (too much) and got bombed out. Pettitte pitched the pivotal Game 5 four days later and threw the best game of his entire career.
The rhythm of pitching remains a mystery, employment of a "lab" notwithstanding.
