Eisenreich is through 5
Do you let him go one more or bring in Crowl who is warming up

Tough call but I would pull him to not risk an arm injury. Given his...
injury history and the fact he probably isn't built up to go 90+ pitches, I would pull him for that reason. It is tempting to leave him in for another inning to see if he could post another clean and quick inning but I would just go to Crowl and let him start off with the beginning of an inning and see if he can get into a groove and keep things rolling. ** Edited by QCP at 4/10/2026, 4:48:51 PM

We just can't string together anything from a pitching perspective...
Get a really nice start from Eisenreich and then we get a poor appearance (at least the start of one) from Crowl. Hopefully we can keep things together to get a win but doesn't look good at this point.

We've had 3 guys that we walked, end up scoring today. All about walks
with this group. Offensively all about lack of walks, and ability to grind out at bats, drive up pitch counts, foul off a good pitch to get a mistake you can hit. Good ACC hitters do this consistently.

Will be interested what we do we Crowl in the 8th. It took him 49...
pitches to get through 2 innings and he hasn't thrown more than 52 pitches in an outing since the first two weekends of the season. He has made two appearances in two ACC series (GT: 21 pitches on Fri, 36 pitches on Sun, STAN: 52 pitches on Fri, 39 pitches on Sun), so they can either bring in someone else for the last two innings tonight and have him available for Sunday or see if they can stretch him to potentially close out this game.
