recipe. I expected our hitting to be inconsistent and a relative weakness this year but I figured out pitching would at least be moderately improved but it's been pretty rough most of this year. And with injuries starting to mount, there doesn't seem to be a likelihood that we can improve in this area.

Similar to last weekend, after getting beat handily in the first two games, we'll have Stieg on the mound for a Sunday game with Crowl, Craytor and Swift all options out of the bullpen. If we can salvage a win tomorrow, it would be a decent outcome despite how bad we have looked. I will be eager to see how we fare against non-Top 25 teams. It is pretty clear we are no match for top tier teams but maybe we can find a little success with what should be a more manageable part of our conference schedule.
