Does Cooke have incriminating photos of the coaches or smething?
He's hitting 0.83 (now 0.80). I guess they are trying to let him climb out of his hole, but he's not seeing the ball well or something and needs to drop to the bottom of the order.

He's the most established hitter on the team. A seven game slump is a pretty short slump in terms of baseball. He'll be fine in the long term.

they should have pinch hit for him in the 9th when he struck out with insurance runners in scoring position.
