1st batter he faced last night hit a HR 1st batter he faces tonight hits a HR Last night 0.2 IP - HR, BB, WP, GO, Single, Single, GO. Tonight 0.0 IP - HR Why, why , why would you bring him on consecutive nights except hoping to lose?

Who else was available? Not questioning your question but if there was a
better option left I’m sure he would have come in. He did give up the walk off last night but at least he was fresh.

Manning was pitching fine. Why bring in a pitcher to face a guy who homered
off of him the day before?

He walked the leadoff guy. Not condemning him for that but walking the
leadoff guy with a one run lead is not fine. Also, leaving Manning may not have worked out any better because we don’t know that outcome. And don’t downplay all of the injuries. Having Tackett in left field instead of Cannizzaro was costly. Big drop off. Every ball hit to left field was a 50/50 ball on to whether it was going to be caught or not. Hurt us twice in the short game too.

he couldn’t get Didiwicker out the day before. It is a bad decision to put him in that situation.
