It doesn't mean much and doesn't position us for an NCAA tournament birth but despite the team's flaws, they have been competitive in most ACC series having not been swept thus far and are a one run loss to BC and an extra inning loss to Stanford from being 11-10 in the ACC and 4-3 in ACC series. Looking at the rest of the schedule, we have NC State and Clemson at home and California on the road. All three are quality teams but none of them are juggernauts this year with none of them being over .500 in ACC play and both Clemson and California are 6-12 in conference play.
