Interesting play in the Oregon game last night
Oregon trailed 6-4 when a fly ball was hit the left field. There was a subsequent collision at the plate on a sacrifice fly that seemed to cut the deficit to 6-5.
But after video review, the umpires ruled that there was “malicious intent” on the collision at the plate and called the Oregon runner out, reverting the score to 6-4.
The Oregon fans were not happy.
