for Burlington in the Appalachian League this summer. I know he was fairly highly regarded but I think it was more projection based on his frame and potential velocity increase but in his senior year, he was still only sitting mainly upper-80's with his fastball and one scout that attended a game in March 2025 had him only hitting mid-80's in the 3rd inning after starting the game in the 88-90 range. So I think the redshirt was likely a developmental year. I still think he has some potential but there hasn't been a particularly long history of pitchers becoming notable players after redshirting during the Szefc era. @Vawter Tech on the additional Summer League assignment.
