I still don't see the big advantage. If you throw a top 3 guy on Thursday

to rest on Friday, you may have them available on Sunday. And in the off chance you get into a pickle like a 14-6 game against the lowly VT Hokies on Thursday, then you HAVE to win 3 straight in 3 straight days with pitchers going on much lower rest. Makes no sense to me.
