I was worried about Daniel and Petrich on the left side of the field, but..

they ended up being fairly solid defensively. Daniel had 5 errors in the first 11 games of the season and that was after posting back-to-back double-digit error seasons at Belmont so I thought he was going to be a liability but he had just 6 errors in the last 36 games he played in which included a 28 game stretch in the middle of the season with just 2 errors. He certainly wasn't as sure-handed as Clay Grady but he got to more balls so I think he performed solidly. Petrich started the year shaky with 2 errors in the first 3 games of the season and I thought he would wind up being similar to David Lewis but he rebounded and had just 3 errors in the last 49 games he played in which is pretty respectable.

Yep, infield D is excellent while our outfield D is bad to atrocious.

Agree. Offensive-based outfield line up. Hughes should play center and
