Cooke was certainly better defensively last year, but I'm not sure how much

French has improved behind the plate (having not been able to watch games) or Cooke may have even regressed defensively. I do know that Cooke has at least one PB and threw one into centerfield on an attempted steal in one game. Yesterday when our pitcher struck out a batter I did see Cooke throw it into left field as he was throwing to third base for the "around the horn" tosses, and that was simply a game of catch.

I'm usually not an alarmist but this is bad. Even if we find a way...

Is Cooke that much better of an arm or backstop than French?

You'd have to imagine CJS is saying I can't let him work out of this slump

Our pitching is AWFUL. We make up for that with anemic offense **

Looks like a track meet when Marshall is at the plate. **

Don 't know if they're playing the run rule this game, but VT's pitcher may
