Wrong ... pitcher fielded ball 3 feet inside baseline
His momentum carried him 3 feet outside of baseliine by the time he threw ball. First base is set inside edge of first base line so there is no way to step on 1st without coming back into fair territory. Stupid rule when they came up with it on bang bang plays, stupid rule now.
