ACC did well in the regionals and SEC took it on the chin for the most...
part. Here is a summary of how each conference fared:
ACC: 5-4 in series (hosts 2-1, non-hosts 3-3), 22-10 in games, 8-5 against SEC.
SEC: 4-9 in series (hosts 4-4, non-hosts 0-5), 27-20 in games, 5-8 against ACC.
As bad as the SEC did with host teams (just 4-4 series record), the 0-5 in series and 8-10 in games for non-hosts is really bad compared to what the ACC non-host teams did with a 3-3 series record and 15-7 record in games with those teams going 4-3 against the SEC.
