Obvious to anyone who knows anything about baseball…and this has been a consistent theme over the course of Szec’s teams. Our guys aren’t mentally tough and fall apart quickly whenever the opposing team applies pressure… I’ve been pretty adamant about this over the last 3+ years. VT DESPERATELY NEEDS a top notch pitching coach who is adept at the mental, emotional side of the game. Our guys have physical talent…no issues there. Unfortunately we don’t have the mental game down.
