Having watched UNC play a handful of games this year I'd put their offense

as the best we'll play against. Being our game against them is in Chapel Hill I don't expect much from that series to be honest. Would be happy with winning one game. GT and Miami are series we have to win as UNC, UVA and Duke are going to be very difficult series for us. In all honesty, before the season started I was wondering where our runs were going to come from, and I am back to that going forward. Offense has not looked good for several weeks now since we've started facing some good pitching staffs (yes WF has elite pitching but they fared better against us than they have most/all other ACC teams). I'm with QCP who posted in another thread in that the GT series is very important for us. Win that series and we're still in good shape and another week closer to finishing out the season near the top of the standings. Lose that series and seeing series wins against UNC, UVA, or Duke doesn't seem likely to me, especially with 2 of those 3 on the road. Duke, while at home, has a pretty darn good pitching staff and is No. 1 in the country in fielding percentage so they don't beat themselves. UVA and UNC have elite offenses and I'm not sure we have the horses to outscore those type teams at this point. But that's why they play the games, all it takes is for a couple of our pitchers to get hot and shut down the other team.
