VT and UVA are in the tournament at this point. Great job by Coach Duffy and the players this year. Also great weekend for VT: both men’s and women’s hoops win, softball sweeps the Georgia tournament, and wrestling wins the ACC. Good stuff!!

Was Druckenmiller. I study/speak German as a hobby. I think both Druckenmiller and Grunkemeyer have German origins. Grunkemeyer is an old German family name from 14th century Bavaria.

Great win

For the ACC last night. I am excited about the potential rivalry matchups between VT and UM in the coming 2-3 years. We are accumulating talent now and should be very competitive. Overall, we have played UM very well through the years. Lots of epic matchups in the Big East days and now ACC, including a season ago when we lost that game on the overturn of the td. I’m looking forward to the future games with them!

The ACC is what it is at this point. It wants to run on the “old school” model. Now, I personally prefer the old ways, BUT the world has changed. VT has invested heavily in the future. Time to leave the past behind.

Big time hire!!

Lays the groundwork for not just for football but for all VT sports for the future. This level of commitment from the school shows that it would be an asset for any of the power conferences, ACC, SEC, or Big 10. If you are a Hokie sports fan, the administration and committee have really come through for you!!!

I think a mix of

Bird, Magic, and Luka. All of these guys knew how to use their height to total advantage. It’s almost as if the Euros study film of Bird and Magic and try to instill those skills and that court awareness into the tall and agile kids. And . . It’s really working!!

I think Cal

Is a pretty good team. They have some big weaknesses which we were able to exploit. The kid playing QB could be very good with more experience and maybe more guys that could catch his passes. I thought Cal played with a lot of heart and energy tonight on the east coast tonight and they deserve a lot of credit for that and both teams produced a very wild and entertaining game. Now the refs . . . Another matter!
