Agreed...TSL needs only one rule...
No whinning or *****ing or complaining about a win. We have victory snatched from us in such painful ways....can we agree to just be happy when we win?

PS this is a 24 hour rule in my mind....constructive feedback 24 hours and 1 second after the win is ok.

The results are amazingly fast.
Nice to see the younger men really stepping up. Need a big recrutiing year for the ladies.....lots of points graduating.

Watched the game trying to stay unemotional....
that didn't last that long. I was just so happy with the effort, that the win was even more sweet. a few thoughts:
-guys that are not all in. let them go now.
-the new coach and Football GM should evaluate the coaches if any should stay
-a tip of the hat to the character of the team and the families that raised them...played hard, didn't quit and deserved the win
-wait til the end of the season to determine which coaches stay or go, the discussion doesn't help
-sweet Jesus, quit whinning about Whit, he is only remotely involved in the process and will not be involved with football going forward
-isn't it great to be optimistic???

A great compromise....
Dont think it would require incremental staff. Simple and clever....and it makes complete sense....therefore, it will never happen! Lol.

U R beyond negative...
It's fine to post after a great play but just look at ur last 250 posts...overwhelmingly negative and embarrassing IMO. You have an amazingly negative feedback ratio of posts to likes...do you ever wonder why?

I was not calling out your posts in particular, but two just set me off. The following was posted:

I didn't put quotations around it since they might not be exact quotes, but to question a young team that is 12-3 with ZERO home games is just not right, In addition, to question the preparation of these players is insane. I am tired of the keyboard muscles from some on these boards questioning OUR players who spend a minimum of 20 hours a week on training (without travel) in addition to school, and are gracious and classy.
It just sets me off and I want one board where the players are always treated with respect and their effort and dedication to their craft is not questioned. Question coaching decisions...I am fine with.

The negativity of some "fans" has really hurt...
other boards. Can we have just one board where the negative folks just hold back a little? This is/was the last sanctuary of Hokie sports positivity....can we just hold onto that?

Usually 3 or 4 other teams with partial squads.

Traditionally...
The meet has been trials starting at 10 and finals at 6 except Sunday where finals start at 4. Schedule will probably posted early next week.

Can someone explain the scheduling rational?
Why wouldn't the softball game be at 5 or 6 under the lights tonight? Spring game and then roll tight into softball. There must be a reason, but I have always thought that Tech does not maximize the crowd attending the Spring Game for other sports.
Is there logic I am missing?

GCHokieof91 made a post over the weekend that he re-read and then apologized for. I wish more posters would own what they write and apologize from time to time when needed. Too much bashing of these kids on the boards and it is refreshing to see someone circle back and fix things in a classy manner.

Swim dual meet against UVA....
lots of nice swims in the middle of winter training. Men are really rounding into form and the women have quite a few strong performances especially last week against Queens.

Let's boil down 4 quarters of incredible intensity.....
pick 5 possessions and then ***** about it.
These kids are going to make mistakes from time to time...poor defense, lazy pass or maybe shooting a little early in the shot clock given the game situation....human mistakes made by kids. Gonna happen.
