Whenever someone brings up a jinx my favorite story is game 6 of

The 2018 NHL conference final, Caps vs Lightning. Caps were down 3-2 in the series and up 1-0 about halfway through the game. I turned to my brother and said "Holtby (the Caps goalie) is going to get a shutout. Shutout shutout shutout shutout shutout." And he did. He got a shutout the next game too and the Caps won the series and the championship. So basically jinxes are dead.
