Posting History (10)

I've been stating to friends for the last couple of years, and

in a couple of posts on this site that VT and the rest of the schools that aren't in the P2 need to just come together to form another division like the old Div 1AA. You can still play for conference titles and have a playoff for a championship amongst yourselves in multiple sports. Not sure how they'd work out the TV part of it. Personally, I feel VT football is a .500 program that's headed no where while being stuck in a conference that's unable to meet the needs of its member institutions. I don't see any options for VT and it doesn't look like they have anything to play for at this point. Stop wasting time and money trying to chase the P2. They're too far ahead and they don't want any of you. Leave the P2 on an island so they only play each other and make decisions that only affect each other. That's what they want anyway.

Yup, my tune out level started a few years back and it took a drastic

Jump forward after the Miami screw job this year. The rest of the college football playing schools want to play for something then they better hurry up and form another division together outside of the Big Ten & SEC. They can set up regional conferences and their own national championship playoff. Those other two conferences are so far ahead and increasing the distance, they'll never be caught. They don't want you and they're making most of the decisions to benefit themselves mostly anyway.

I put this out on the subscriber board on Saturday

"Living in Knoxville it's tough to stomach seeing SEC everywhere I turn. My interest in football overall has been declining for a few years. The way the landscape has changed my interest is at an all time low. I would really enjoy watching games of regional/Big East/ACC interest over the years but I don't know if anything can save that now." I didn't watch any of the game Saturday night. I'll also add with the stoppages during game play/broadcast along with injustices with replay its taken away some of the watchability for me.

Think of the new ACC legends just acquired.

Doak Walker, Eric Dickerson, Craig James, Pop Warner, John Elway, Jim Plunkett, Marshawn Lynch & Aaron Rogers President Herbert Hoover đŸ¤ŖđŸ¤Ŗ

CBS Morning just showed an interview with Clark from Iowa.

The story mentioned one star player from every team in the final four except VT. I don't think they even said Virginia Tech. If they hadn't put the graphic up there of the four teams in Dallas, you wouldn't have known who the fourth team was.

I had to move to Knoxville two years ago.

I can attest to the arrogance of that fan base. Living there has made me hate the sports teams from that university even more.
