I hear you.

I've been a Hokie fan since before I was born. I'm still a fan. But yesterday was a beautiful day for a mountain bike ride. And my paltry donations are worth more to the local food bank than to a "professional" sporting game. I appreciate all of you who give big to hopefully get a few more wins. If you choose not to, it won't hurt my feelings. There are more trails to ride and more leaves to change that I'd rather spend my fall Saturdays appreciating.

Bad take

What you're saying is that these talented athletes should sacrifice for your entertainment. Why does anyone come to college? To develop and grow their career (and thus earnings) potential. And when they get a great opportunity to do both, we complain that they aren't "Hokie" enough? Bullsh*t. Get it while they can. College is not indentured servitude. If we can't offer them what they are worth, they ought to go.

Was the BCS better than the CFP committee?

Logged in to ask this very question.

Sure looked like him, but why would he be coaching up QB Farrel?
