Posting History (25)

Oh yea..,,,

So was Page Plummer- another cheerleader with Kylenes squad. Page I believe became a Cover Girl model

??? Had the talent

Who knows what was around him providing support. I wasn’t there. The rub on Franklin was couldn’t get them over the hump. Maybe, just maybe , his loyalty to folks like Pry was the the issue-don’t know- what I do know is Pry showed no coaching leadership characteristics while at VT. Some of the worst playcalling and defenses I have seen at Tech. I just don’t see a good coach in him/ good person, yes. - a good friend , yes. A good coach, hell no

Johnny. Like enthusiasm but

I’m excited about the recruitment as much as anyone but don’t lose site that MOST 18 year olds don’t make a huge impact I year 1. Couple that with the youth on current team and that leaves the portal where a big splash is needed to be really really good next year. As Frank would say, β€œdon’t get too high and don’t get too low. 8 wins next year might exceed expectations

I would change it up definitely but….

Don’t forget that Monty is the coach and he believes in doing the same thing over and over. Very conservative due to talent level and also his nature. We need to mix it up and also blitz their QB. , so Meyer don’t do very often. Let our players play

Good observation

Everything looks that way based on this year-a very bad look for the ACC. However, all this can change quickly in the age of the portal and NIL. Just look at Indiana and SMU. It will be interesting to see what happens next year but IMO it will not look like this year, VT included

Good post but not sure of Montgomery

He was OC all season and this O is dismal. Playcalling hasn’t changed, highly predictable, and no half time adjustments. Yes, talent is somewhat less than needed but please stop doing the same playcalling thinking something will change. Play Pop or 3 or 4 string QB. Just TRY something different. What the hell do you have to lose

Found this

Driving the Quarterback into the Ground Even if a defender gets to the quarterback while the ball is still in their hands, they must avoid driving the quarterback forcefully into the ground. This is a key part of the roughing the passer rule. Tackles that involve lifting and slamming the quarterback or landing with the defender's full body weight on top of the quarterback are prohibited

Been watching and pulling for TECH SINCE 60s. worst coaching I have ever se

Seen here since. 2-5 and playing not to lose? First- get Drones out of there- mental case. Second- shadow #21 on D. Third - blitz. Blitz and blitz. Fourth. - let the damn kickoff go in endzone Worst coaching ever seen here. Kids are trying, adults (coaches) are horrible. Tool the dice , change things up, stop chocking and grow a set

Well, mid 80's-

Zollocoffer catch to end game vs William and Mary--looked like he went down on the 1 yd line but ruled TD, Hokies win
