Posting History (95)

Former supervision was at USC during OJs days

Said when they played Stanford, a Stanford cheer went something like this. Hey hey that’s ok, you’re going to work for us someday

Swiss campus

Daughter wo works for Tech in the Fralin Life Sciences was part of an international conference held there last summer

and then the plow comes by

and leaves a mountain of snow and ice to clear as well. But alt least the street is semi cleared

UVa got their share of calls

2nd half a couple of Tech positions ended on some strange calls including an obvious foul on a Neo drive He had the ball held high above his head going to the basket and he was hit by UVa defender on the elbows Ball came loose and no call

Always sync game and Tech broadcast

Started doing that almost 25 years ago when it was obvious most network broadcasts talk about anything but the game they are at or are homers Tech has been very fortunate to have the Roth Burnop team for so long and now Mackey does a good job with Burnop and Roth’s program is supplying more quality such as Evan Hughes

UVa defender went up thru net

From my seat angle pretty evident and the refs did not hesitate on the call

Post game Evan said he would have a special guest color commentator

next game. She may have just been there to get some on the air training without being on the air.

Just an off day shooting. It happens to all teams

Better now than later and I thought anytime Daley was in they played better and also it seemed whenever Tech needed a score they got it. Good teams win even when they have off days

also change Tech's prep as well game plan with Noel was more drop back

With MV more flow to offense and as it was Tech still was a dropped pass away from tieing the game. Miami knew they were in trouble and escaped. Loudest blocked punt in football history

In Yokohama there is a museum all about him

At the end of the tour you get to create your own personal Cup O Noodles

No this is at home or on the car radio. Only the football games.

All the other espn shows do not have this problem. It was never a problem on the Bear

a rare occurance for 93.1. It is usually pretty bad for Tech broadcasts

Last night during the game it almost sounded like an AM station that cut its power at sunset for a portion of the game and it happens every game. The switch to The local ESPN has not been good. Several post game interviews with coaches have been cut off so they can go to Sports Center. Miss the Bear broadcasts

Yeah reminded me of some Beamer games

Strong D good punting game to keep the other team backed up and just enough offense

maybe having 8 home games makes up for the hard schedule some?

How does anyone these days get to host 8 home games? would love for Tech just to get 7 home games consistently

seat selection for mens bball crashed for me

Had no problem for football or womens bball but mens bball is in perpetual error mode. on hold with ticket office

and their QB is rated higher than Drones

247 list of top 25 returning qbs. So maybe they are also after the Liberty qb and others as well. SMU, Memphis and LIberty qbs rated here and Drones not mentioned

So?

Potentially Tech has more resources than most SEC schools. Per capita income, number of alumni, number of students. There should be no reason except want to. Admin needs to think bigger.

So where do we improve the finances to compete with the big boys

If it’s NIL where does Kentucky get their funds? Student population is less than Tech. Number of alumni is less than Tech. Average Kentucky income 28k vs Virginia 37k. Why are we not doing better?

Agree.

Live near his abode and it is a simple house on a side street . Not in one of the more high end neighborhoods which he could easily afford but it seems to fit what he and his family have enjoyed and from some of his press conferences it has been an easy place for his team to come and gather informally. So if it is about money for him he would seem to have moved up to a more high end location

NIL at Tech must be pretty good. Out recruited Connecticut and others

For Silva. Incoming class one of the top in country. GA could still return to help. Brooks and staff are building something here and are not finished

Have never had issues with Comcast. Reliable service

And have switched from their cable service to YouTube tv, back to their Xfinity stream and now back with YouTube tv and they have always been accommodating. Was just upgraded with their latest Wi-Fi modem router and it is much better than their previous model
