Last night happened but take 28 pts off from TOs and blocked punt in 4th
And it’s different. $&@ happens and snowballs. Ie our 62-0 over Syracuse back in glory days. It was a much better regular season game between the two unfortunately this didn’t repeat. I would have preferred a better game but it was what it was last night. Also not an offensive game the 10-3 Miami/A&M game was still very interesting to last play. I personally want 16 with all 8 first round games at home.

Exactly, on the returns it will want/expect
Only to recapitalize it as it moves up the PE ladder. Maybe a couple teams could create such value to pay back the PE return assumption but don’t see many (and expect the tv revenue will begin to plateau at least slow as to growth). Haven’t seen results to Big 10 package across all those networks but did see it mostly lost out head to head to SEC ratings. Money is never free. What will be telling is/when schools are no longer designated as non profit and have a tax payment to make as well.

Just go to 16, keep G5 have first round 8 games at home sites 1 seed
Gets G5 ( if higher ranked so be it and seeded where appropriate) Like basketball in 1 vs 16. And eliminate Championship games

They will need to update the tie breaker due to imbalanced scheduling and should be national ranking and some computer power ratings (average of) That said, I’ll be watching OSU/Indiana vs the joke of ACC matchup

Not sure about that, will have better view of next year
At the end of January post recruitment/portal, there are a lot of needs as yesterday showed. And all teams will be different once again next year with who they purchase for QB. Maybe SMU QB has one more year the rest I believe all turnover for the most part. I’m excited about what the potential Franklin can bring but I think it’s at a minimum two years away (unless portal is extremely generous to us)

To see what this really means, ie who did we get. As they say “Slow your roll”, but there is excitement and press a plenty that is very good to the program that has basically become irrelevant to the college football nation. See ya in the stands Saturday

Believe Kirby’s record to Saban though is like 1-6
As are most…. Piece I would say to Coach Franklin’s record was how competitive were those games and if I recall many were very close. I’ll happily go back to 10-2 and just a play away from that big win. After that we will see what happens Let’s get back here first

Of $ Is seen by the Athletic Dept with this announcement. Obviously the press around it is huge vs another no name This will carry til next Sept and even larger with a good Dec/Jan recruitment/Portal window. They will get my investment for another year (hopefully more)

Anyone available is going to have been fired for most part. I don’t see
Us paying off someone’s exit fee and hire them at $5-8M We are going to pull from the pool that is available or go G5, which to me will be the same risk. Remember most of those at P2 level had already been very successful at lower levels as to why they were at the schools they are getting fired from. Ultimately it will come down to the interview and how they present their vision to what is needed and how they believe they can accomplish it.

That has been as much of a dumpster fire as QB. There is absolutely no reason for Drones to drop back everything should be rollout /misdirection giving him only 1/2 field to look at and run when not there, get me 3/4 yds (but as others have said he looks so slow now, probably would be better at 225, seems to be carrying more than he can play with).

Season ticket prices I believe are competitive (at least to S Carolina)
To some friends that I have that have season tickets and donor levels are what you are willing to contribute. Do others have a larger number contributing, yes. And I wish Tech did as well. I’m a Silver Hokie and have been O&M or Silver since graduating in 89. (And the $ to be in them has increased as well).

It needs to be competitive to our peers
If we are truly trailing in this area then it should be in line with them ( and I’m supportive of that ). And I support Hokie Club and season tickets. We shouldn’t automatically put ourselves at a disadvantage. We don’t need to be market leaders but don’t need to price/charge at a detriment to the programs either. I want successful programs.
