As others have pointed out VT has one of the lowest student activity fees accessed of all universities. Part of being a part of a society is doing what is best for the entire society and not always what is one's individual opinion or choice. There are many local, state and federal taxes that everyone pays that not everyone benefits equally or agrees with but as a society the US has decided that it is best to pay for things through taxes or fee assessments for the betterment of society.

couple of us would head to Wrightsville Beach from Raleigh on !-40 and the road is straight and flat. We would open up our bikes and hit top end speed for a few miles and then throttle down. At those speeds I'm surprised none of us ever got a ticket or worse got thrown from our bikes and died.
