$250/SF to build I would imagine you would have top of the line finishes throughout.

The key point you're overlooking when comparing
a 4 cyl turbo to a six cylnder or 8 is the exhaust note. That 4 banger will not sound as nice as the six and the 8s will sound even better. you can put a quad turbo on a 4 banger and it still won't sound as angry as a naturally aspired 8. That's why the 8 cyl engines must live on!!

Take it to a mechanic (not the dealer) and see if they can disengage the
transfer case. This will essentially turn your car into a 2-wheel drive. I know of BWMs there's an Xdelete you can do after market that turns your all wheel drive BMW to 2 wheel drive.

for my pool, even if water is going through the skimmer, if it's not
enough water, my pump will suck in air and lose prime.

Would this allow for enough runtime to turnover the volume of water in the
pool? Based off of my pump output, I need to run the pump at least 6 or 7 hours to get all the water turned over.

Yes, and spicket attached to home plumbing and home plumbing attached to
a water source; either public or well; which has water. Note if public utility, bills must be current for adequate water flow.

I would suspect that there's not enough water in the pool.
When mine drops to about 1" above the skimmer, my pump will lose prime and struggle. Throw a hose in the pool for an hour or two and see if that helps.

I did once - had Continental DWS on my SUV
Had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get them to honor the warranty, but they eventually did. However, only for one tire. So I had to buy another tire anyway - the tire place ended up giving me a good deal on the second tire b/c they felt bad for how long the ordeal took - I think from start to finish it was a month before I got the claim approved. Very frustrating.

Still paying it - just comes from the gas sales.
What a lot of states are looking into is instead of transportation funding coming from gasoline - it comes from miles driven. Also there's debate now with the increase of bicycle, pedestrian, golf cart traffic - a lot of roadway widenings are multi-use paths. However, those citizens that utilize that path don't contribute to the upkeep b/c they're not buying gas. Very interesting dilemma all the state DOTs face.

that doesn't bother me. That's like getting upset at people using, or not
using the sun shade. It's there to be used by that passenger. Let it go. The seat reclines - it's not inconsiderate to use it. Or if you're on a trans Atlantic flight - is it inconsiderate to have your reading light on when everyone else is trying to sleep? I can see it both ways.

Mine was similar only it was a women's purse and I had a carry on.
I politely asked the women if she wouldn't mine putting her purse under the seat in front of her and she replied with "yeah I mind, that's where my feet are going to go". So I, one again, politely said OK. Jammed my carry on in the overhead bin, crushing her purse. Then I looked back at her and said -- there fit like a glove! She was visually upset but didn't say anything to me. Didn't help that the people spectating all started to laugh in my favor.

Yes. It only works on a very small % of tumors where they have an MMR
defect - meaning the cancer cells cannot repair themselves. This defect differentiates those cells enough from your good cells where you can take a medicine that can mark those cells and your immune system does the rest. Unfortunately only about 5% of colorectal cancer patients have a tumor with this specific defect.

I have a 2020 X5 that I bought new - Drove it home from Spartenburg
with only 4 miles on it. The only issue I had thus far was covered under warranty - AC condenser. There are some high ticket maintenance cost coming up. But the car is paid off, so I'm just putting the payment into savings to cover those. Great car - don't want to get rid of it b/c frankly, there's nothing out there in my budget that I would want more currently.

Around here it's not because you need the edge it's b/c you need to say
your bike cost $10,000. It's akin to having a Porsche GT3 as your daily driver - do you really want to roll around town in car specifically designed to be on the track? Of course not, but you HAVE to be seen in your $300k car.

There's a shop in Atlanta that specializes in custom classic broncos...
All of them retail for 200k+. Classic Bronco but todays convenience features (radio, power windows, new engine). They're really popular in the Northern Atlanta suburbs.

Yup - the octane rating for gasoline is not a measure of octane
it's a measure of it's anti-knock characteristics. 87 octane and 93 octane have the same potential energy.

Curious about your experiences with a pool vacuums
I have a pressure side cleaner that I essentially just leave in the pool and have it run every day for an hour. Wife wants to buy one of the robot ones, but then that would mean I have to manually put the cleaner in and remove it.
What's your take on using these robot cleaners? They're awfully expensive and from what I gather at the pool store, not very reliable.

Like many have begun doing with mental illness, the more it's talked about, the more it gets talked about and the more you don't feel like "I must be the only one" which just helps along the way. Similar to mental illness, people don't have empathy b/c they cannot "see" what's wrong. Just that you're lazy, weak, etc... That needs to change asap.

I agree it's not a perfect analogy
by my main point is that if something goes wrong with the infotainment then everything in the car is rendered useless. On my car, there are very few physical buttons. If the infotainment goes out for some reason - I would loose all the creature comforts of the car. I had this happen on my 2004 Acura TSX, and that repair was going to be $$$ but Acura paid for it as a warranty claim even though I was out of warranty by about 10k miles (kudos Acura!). It was an issue with the navigation HD, it kept the infotainment from booting up so it was in a continuous boot loop. Meant I had no AC, radio, backup camera (NBD), navigation (NBD). Older cars, if your radio goes bad, NBD, you buy a new one. It doesn't mean you don't have AC anymore.

Not only that, but look at the computers in todays cars
my car is essentially run by a touch screen - which for all intense and purposes is a laptop - Now imagine holding on to a laptop for 8+ years. Cars these days, especially the ones on the bleeding edge of technology, need to be swapped out every 5 years, max. Otherwise you run the risk of the head unit crapping out, rending your car uselss - I can only imagine the $$ to fix the head unit in my car if that were to happen.
Going forward, leasing a car is probably the way to go - similar to cell phones, you get a new one every 3 years. You're content with the car payment - just part of your budget.

Wife and I did this for our ride. It was a good time. Got to take some
cars out on the track and since we got an SUV, got to do the off road course. Then got to do a hot lap in an M5 Competition with a trained driver... intense. Also, downtown Greenville is a surprisingly nice spot to do a short weekend stay.

Aslo, you may consider stringing a small gauge steel cable from post
to post and hanging your string of lights from that. For you not to get significant sag, you're going to have to tension the wire pretty significantly, and you wouldn't want to do that with the electrical wires.

May want to consider the type of bracket with nelson studs on the bottom.
You pour your concrete and set the bracket. Save you the chore of hammer drilling your wedge anchors.

The scary part about all of this is the ill-fitted life vest on the 3 year
Kid almost died because the parents didn't fit him properly. Kind of makes me angry to see it, to be honest. The first thing they tell you when you buy a kids life vest is to pick the kid up by the shoulders of the vest, if the kids head falls through, it's too big. This is boating 101 folks!

Our company breaks it out to 10/10/25 for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Awfully hard to eat lunch for $10 these days.
