Consider getting an Anker battery. It is a well-respected line of batteries and power supplies. During the recent snow up here in Charlottesville, I charged and ran a number of devices/lights on them. For awhile, I ran my router on a bigger unit.

Just got an e-mail from the Hokie Club about pledging monies per stats, accomplishment, goals, etc. for various spring sports. Seem that they have "borrowed" the idea that VTChip and others have popularized for several years here on the softball board. Had not seen this communication before now. It says that it will go into the particular sports operating budget. Is this any different from what is done on the softball board?

I hope it is Maija or Kylie in the 2nd GT game. Either would make a good story considering their development this year. If not, Bre or Cory in the 2nd GT game.

Did anyone get the explanation for the Longwood player out at 1st base in, I believe, the bottom of the 7th inning? The announcers, as usual, didn’t have a clue and were guessing about it. Also, while the announcers were comical, the production values of the broadcast were just as bad: commercials cutting in and out of live play, cameras focusing on the pitcher while the pitch went to the batter, unfocused camera, and finally, the camera behind the plate was constantly obscured by people walking up the stairs. I am so thankful that VT runs a professional operation on their broadcast productions.

Is there anyone playing in the Valley League this summer? I occasionally go to the Tom Sox games in C'ville, generally when Crutchfield holds their summer picnic and my daughter takes me. I believe that Christian Martin played for them last year.

The Android folks cannot compete with Apple’s billions nor do they have an effective streaming platform. And it would provide the ACC with needed revenue.

I would venture that suggesting to RayCom to sign a contract with Apple to stream those broadcasts on Apple+ which can be on Apple TV. Then the Apple+ broadcasts could be easily ported to Apple VR platform,

Under the iPhone app Hokiesports, it is showing a list of the men's and women's tickets. However, when I select the ticket icon for one of the events, it tells me to check back 48 hours before the event to download the ticket. I wonder if they are not going to allow the download of every ticket any sooner than that time period. Not sure I like that if that is the case. Jeff

Had a chance to meet Coach Brooks' mom at a local Hokie Club tailgate before a game against UVa in Charlottesville. Great lady and big-time supporter of her son.

Coach Brooks podcast is now available but I did not get a notification from YouTube. Weird.

Thanks for keeping everyone in the loop. Just love to support these fine athletes and great ladies! The website was very easy to navigate. There were also other items available. Looks like Campus Ink, a Mark Cuban enterprise, has started off well. Take care.
