6+ wins would qualify as a spectacular in-season
turn-around. We will be lucky to hang on to him then, because everyone else will come calling as well.
Two weeks ago we were staring down the barrel of an 1-11 season. If Monty gets to 4 wins, we should start talking to him seriously at that point. Waiting until season end, or win 6+ will be too late. But, of course, this is VT I am talking about.

Your embarrasement is unwarranted and not widely shared. Stop to consider
that Pry could just fill the role himself. He was a pretty good DC as you may or may not recall.
So, in reality, it is not imperative the VT hire a DC at all and with a built-in back-up plan, rushing the hire is just not something that Pry/VT needs to do.

And, the problem is a lot of these bs comments now pop-up first thing on a
google search. Just hit "VT football" and watch what happens. Future prospects, players, coaches and the families have to be seeing some of the nonsense posted here without even visiting the board. It's not a good look for VT and alumni most days.

Yes, you can just quit and no military obligation if it's prior to your
junior year. Then, it can be somewhat negotiable. Beyond graduation, you owe Uncle 5 years.
