So the YOUNG MAN didn’t perform to your liking this year and now he’s hurt. Now you’re going to take a cheap shot and project he’ll be a used car salesman…. What do you do for a living that’s so high and mighty you want to pick on kids that are twenty years old and say they’ll be a “used car salesman”. Saying something about the coaching staff or a coach is one thing. But you really should look in the mirror if you have the audacity to take a shot at a college football player who stays out of trouble and tries his best on the field….they owe you nothing and in no way is that supporting the program.

Only silver lining is guys that don’t get playing time get a chance to play. If Pop stays and is in the mix for the job next year it could help his development. Other than that it will be sad.

They’re done, won’t be in the portal, they’re seniors…A few will play in the league but most won’t, last time wearing pads. It’s emotional for them. Losing the last game of your football career at home against your rival won’t be a fond memory. They train to get to this level by being extremely competitive individuals. You should give them a little more respect.

Saturday will almost certainly be the last time APR and Tuten will suit-up for tech. Those guys are studs and have been an absolute pleasure to watch. Hope they kill it at the next level. Everyone’s disappointed….but the team has shown high character throughout the season and that still matters to some. Can’t think of any point this year when a player put self over team, acted-out, trouble off the field or embarrassed the program.

How many 60 yard field goals have been made in college football? Much less on a 40 degree night and we have no feel for the wind direction. These guys know their ceiling. He’s a great kicker but the notion that this is a poor coaching decision is a joke.

You’re not getting an established SEC head coach….but you’re posting a 4 million + a year job…There’s an abundance of talent across the landscape that want the job.

Plagued with opt-outs and guys going to the portal… But don’t forget all the guys that put in the work and don’t get playing time. It’s an opportunity for them to get on the field and make a play.

Not fair to the players. You don’t have a price to pay… To the seniors that worked their butt off and gave it all they had, losing to UVA on senior night is something they would haunt them the rest of their lives. Light them up and go out on a high note.

I may be wrong but I think it would have been a 60 yard attempt, on a 45 degree night and we have no idea what direction the wind was blowing.

They were 3-1 in the ACC going into Syracuse, still had a chance to do something in the ACC. They played the guy who earned the #2 job months ago so they had the best chance to win.

Schlee had a 67% completion percentage, TD pass, no turnovers at Syracuse. 5th year senior with lots of experience…They were 5-3 going into that game.

I trust the QB to not turn it over..Drones developing very nicely. Good decisions, getting better, smarter, with every snap. He’s a classic tech QB, gonna be great the next few years! Awesome to watch their progress!

Those schools get up for us. If you factor #5, FSU, 3:30 kick ABC, tomahawk chop. It was a tremendously bigger stage than usual. I miss those big Labor Day weekend games where the team gets comfortable in those environments W or L before the season takes off.

Don’t forget. With the soft schedule’s we have. These players don’t get to experience being on the road in a hostile atmosphere like that….that was nothing like playing at Rutgers/Marshall…I think that had a big factor in the 22-0 start.

Portal, needs to be O line guys and whatever they need to stop the run. If you plugged those parts in right now I think they could be really good ball. I know Wells is a good kid and I could see him throwing really nice balls in practice but I think he has performance anxiety and therefore we gotta develop #1 and give him the keys to the car.

He’s relied on so much in the run game that he’s winded, the O line doesn’t give him enough time more times than not. But, this guy next year with a better line can be a really good college QB.

Don’t forget they’ll probably be in the playoffs. And for a good portion of the game we had momentum, we played good ball, found an offensive scheme to keep drives going. This doesn’t bother me. I think they may have built some confidence if they take the positives from this game they’ll progress through the back side of the season.

I’m just so sick of all the stupid comments referring to a lack of effort from the players and coaches. The product may stink, but everyone works hard. Seeing that on this drive.

I guess you’re better at watching football than me. If you ever played the game, you’d know what it’s like to have someone faster and stronger throw you down and get by you.

I hope he turns it around more than anyone. I have and still want to believe in him. But if this fanbase, or any self respecting power 5 fanbase has to watch their team get smacked around and run over in all phases by Marshall and Rutgers in back to back weeks with no signs of improvement in any area, we’re forced to speculate a change in the future. 4-11, with soft scheduling. Please, please play some inspired football Saturday night and shut everyone up!

Yes more complicated. But it’s also nice to think you can fill a void in the portal and get quick results. Khalil Herbert was a monster…It’s a real shame Ali Jennings is hurt.

Obviously Shane would be the ultimate hire, but… He’s making over 6 mil a year and is extended til 27’. I think that program would really have to melt down for them to let him go within the same time frame of Pry’s inevitable exit if things don’t improve in the next 2 years. Also, it feels like he’s moved on from the attachment to the program. I think he likes being his own man and not dealing with the shadow cast over him in Blacksburg. I could be wrong, I hope I am.

Pass or fail we would be immediately back in the spotlight. Recruiting would be insane. Guarantee we would have a 5 star dual threat at QB. It would be a much needed lightning bolt of energy for the program. He’s been around amazing coaches in his career. Dreaming obviously, but with the success of Deion’s approach programs should start thinking outside the box.

I get that you may have to keep your emotions in check to a degree but where is the fire? I was hoping we’d see some emotions after the Fuente era. Wake up and change your tone man!, Send a message, don’t let that team or the fans think that today was o.k. Let us know you’re angry just like we are.

They wanted a defensive minded approach after minimal success with an offensive minded HC….unfortunately it’s ugly in all phases right now. I know there’s no blueprint on when exactly you should start seeing results, but we’re not seeing any signs of life right now. I know he doesn’t get much camera time but I’d love to see him pissed off and in someone’s face at some point. Low energy.

It looked like they could build something with Drones, keep him in and let him figure it out. One or the other with the QB deal and get some receivers healthy and you might have something somewhat solid. Giving up 7.5 yards per rush today was gross. Don’t know how it gets fixed if guys just get pushed around.

The guy was the defensive coordinator at Penn State. He may fail, me may be a bad head coach, who knows. But enough of the stupid comments and arrogance from all of you acting as if you understand the game better than coaches at that level. You just want the easy quick fix of a lightning in the bottle success of a new coach that doesn’t exist and if he did exist would take a bigger job for a program in a better situation. There is minimal accountability given to the players and their talent level. Did Bowen drop the pass that was right in Felton’s hands. JC Price isn’t getting pushed around on the line and Pry isn’t a linebacker missing an assignment. Don’t forget there’s still a lack of talent, size etc. Everyone seemed cool with a multi-year re-build when he was hired. It’s 14 games in, maybe they can progress... Show up, sell out Lane, show the recruits that the fan base is ride or die. That’s all you can do if you care. If you’re waiting for the quick fix turn-key coaching hire that makes the team from the Pinstripe Bowl ACC champs…good luck!
