Posting History (270)

Here is the list:

1. Parachutist 2. We can bring back "Stick it in" 3. Seat backs in front of me hurt my knees 4. Is Brent Pry really gonna keep taking notes?

I think it is possible for him to succeed based purely on more talent

around him and likely can be made to look better based on that alone. So there will be less pressure on him individually and may also be paired with less freedom/more consequnces for poor shot selection/defense.

lets run a weekly 50-50 drawing

$5 x 40K alumni and friends x 52 weeks = $10.2 at 50% payout that is an additional $5M a year. Honestly have no idea if 40K alumni is remotely close to a reality.

someone with more money than I have should create a post-season tournament

where winning team gets NIL money to players. Maybe they have to commit to doing some commercials or something over the next year but otherwise money to players or maybe a winner takes all - $1M to school and $1M to players. You could make it a limited field or something like 16 teams by invite only or maybe have an entrance fee that would cover costs and the "pot" is paid with sponsor/tv money.

It’s amazing how Pitino and Calipari keep winning. No matter how you feel

About them. Maybe they’re able to equally cheat wherever they go but at some point they can just coach.

What is amazing lookng at 2022 - one or two shots made that season...

Otherwise it was the same season as always. We were right at .500 going into the last weekend in January and 2-7 in the ACC at that time. We went 9-2 to finish the season but if we miss the first last second shot, that is one more loss in regular season ACC (Miami) and a second missed/altered/faltered last second shot in first round loss in ACC tournament that year would have put us at 18-14 and 10-10 in ACC as our tournament resume with losses to Xavier, Memphis and Dayton. I'm not sure that team is in the NCAA either.

the issue was really outside of statistics - like situational decision

making and of course even moreso his defense and boxing out for rebounds. Those are effort/hustle things and that area needs improvement as much as anything.

if intent doesnt matter and player safety does, seems taking out a players

knees should be a foul. Not what I beleive but pointing to the absurdity of the elbow call

it probably isnt as important now but how does a coach with 1 year left

on his contract really have a chance. One chance he has is strong NIL and put the chips all in.

Is it possible (I think CMY’s body or work shows this) that teams don’t

Stay together long enough for CMY system? The best year was his Wofford team’s 4th or 5th year together that just happened to be at VT.

How about we want you to want to be great. Plenty of skills there to make

An impact on the game without scoring. It will come but focus on defense and being a facilitator.

this was my first thought. Grunk doesnt seem like the 2nd coming of MV tho

Which of course isnt an insult at all and plenty of room to be really really good and still fall short

I would imagine you could eliminate the first 2 minutes and just go with

first 35-38 minutes...every game. We should get a break from that this weekend unfortunately like last weekend.

our offense seems to have to need a bunch of long slow passes at the top

while really not creating anything but staleness. It's like there is no other option except where it is supposed to go.

If Indiana were to beat Miami by more 3 TDs or more they have to be one of

the best ever college football teams relative to their competition. Always tough to make a best ever comparison from one era to another.

I think in same calendar year is the question - Miami had 1 in '25 and '26

Seems there could have been teams before who won a new year bowl and went to a lesser bowl the next year prior to new years and won.
