It amazes me that regardless the level of competition he seems to be able

To impose his will on anyone and everyone. He’s not physically dominant over anyone and is yet able to physically push and overrun everyone. It’s really hard to describe exactly what he does, you can watch him put up 15pts in 45 seconds without any singular thing looking overly amazing but the match is over and the result booked. Kids incredible.

That escape only looked questionable because Sasso was lazy/slow

Unintentional, whatever you want to call it as he turned to face Merrill. Had he wrestled as he’s been trained since he was 6 and cut into a proper stance there wouldn’t have been an immediate shot or all the questions of escape or not. On the other hand, he also may not have gotten the extended review and stall call either.

I get it. But no one in the ACC can break their model right now.

They also score and get bonus points when they should. So, they effectively do the same thing in the team race as they do in individual big matches.
