where UF players are staying. Met the bus driver lady, she was a great person. She left at 7pm and is driving to Nashville tonight, and will go to OKC tomorrow. All of those girls are flying to OKC tomorrow. Constant reminder...UGH.....I'm trying to be a good hokie fan, but it's driving me bonkers those girls are across the parking lot celebrating and flying to OKC tomorrow! At least the UF official bus is gone now! But my son saw the whole team walking back from Macados over on University City Blvd...and I saw two later looping around to Mcallisters..UGH

honesty? I wouldn't have pledged to donate close to $300 for the popping it campaign, nor would have donated the other hundred or so bucks for that other campaign to get VT softball a free chunck of dough..lol I can't even remember the campaign but it was the one we finished 2nd behind football earlier this year

You have to play your best players. You can't 'hide' a good one so there is no film. I guess maybe if you are the best softball school of all time and had 2 Keelys and 2 Emmas you might could hide them as frosh but you would end up using them to get dubs...

Not only this year, but others past and beyond. You may or may not realize, but you have spearheaded support in a sport that would have been an afterthought otherwise. Yeah, you have a few of us softball dads that are Hokie fans in general, but man this thing has BLOWN UP during the year. The ladies performance obviously helped with that, but I think your 'point position' really crystalized the support. And Arthur didn't hurt :) You should take some pride in that, my man. I'm looking forward toward your email telling me how much I owe for my earlier pledge to the Keep Popping It campaign. Thanks again to all who joined in on this great journey. I only hope this is an annual occurrence, and VT athletics continues and expands support for this sport.

point to see, were the likely tears from the seniors/other players. I watched some last night on TV from the ARK - TEX game and it hit me in the feels. I have been thinking about that more than anything else this afternoon, in all honesty. Like every other sport, those moments are crazy - on one side pure joy and the other pure agony. I couldn't stand to see Keely reduced to that, although knowing her, she would never display it in public. Just a simple nod, a grimace maybe, and on to the next thing she's shooting for in her life. I think this year (along with last year) is a foundational building block in this program. We have good coaching and good recruits, and to be fair, Florida has been doing it better for longer than we have. It's almost like when you get beat by your dad in backyard ball - you have more skills, but he's more crafty. At least that's the way I look at it... Thanks to TSL for our KICK ASS Softball Board and to all of those who followed the girls all season, through thick and thin, and especially to VTChip and Amazing Arthur!

Obviously not the way we wanted it to end, but one heckuva run for sure! Already fired up for next year!!

Let my wife have the reserved seat, without her having to be around us boys and kids who were relegated to the GA zone :) She had a wonderful time! We did as well - VIPS kept rolling by us - we were sitting right above the Florida family reserved seats on the 1st base line. Saw Mike Young, Hunter Catoor, Justin Robinson, and Keely's family all in the reserved section next to us. Also sat right near Hightower's parents (starting FU pitcher for today - were loud in the beginning, but mysteriously got quiet later lol) Looking for a single ticket tomorrow if one is around...let me know...email me at [email protected] ...TIA! Go Hokies!!

but depending on how today goes, it might be in the cards tomorrow morning!

you have to go to the main menu (the ticket link at the bottom doesnt work on Android or at least my phone). Go to Virtual Ticket Assistant which launches a seperate site. Then go to THAT menu and click access my account...then you can finally see the tickets and save to google pay etc

i guess i have the emails and whatnot and just go by the ticket office at lane if it still screws up?

closer to game time? I click the Manage Tickets options and the app either crashes or just goes back to the homepage....any ideas?

but we'll see how it goes and just trade off a game

folks? Like a hospital wristband? or a Livestrong wristband lol?

We are coming with 2 adults, 2 kids and now MAYBE a 3rd kid if he can get out of work. We only have 4 tickets. Do they just scan them at the gate or do they give wristbands (I read something about that). Was there the ability to leave and re-enter? Asking because 2 of my kids are a bit younger and will likely get twitchy and want to take a stroll once or twice during the game...was hoping we could somehow share 4 tickets between 5 of us, with only 2 or 3 being inside the gate at the same time. I'm hoping due to the extraordinary demand they will release some more tickets somehow though...will gladly pay for another one if they become available.

issues... My hope is that all of these folks that are trying to flip them, end up not being able to sell them for the insane amounts they are asking. Freaking $100+ for GA PER GAME / PER TICKET?? You have to think the prices will cool off later and go down toward end of the week, but who knows. I sure hope no one buys them at those prices and either those folks attend or come back to reality and sell for way cheaper. I hope you can get some reasonably-priced tickets.

how much are they? I'm getting nervous I won't get tickets because of this crazy thing with my account. I guess either I didn't donate to the right thing or not enough...I'm looking at StubHub now as a plan B and they have the GA all sessions for 60 bucks each already

is there some other link? I see the ticket categories there, see red text that says open to the public at 2pm etc..and yes am logged in...tried incognito window as well....frustrating

I see reserved has sold out...hoping i can get 4 GA session tickets but evidently have to wait until 2pm!
