Assuming things transpired the same at the next bat, it would have been a game tying 3 run bomb and still no outs. Couldn’t catch a break this weekend but we also could have played cleaner. Could be the SEC bias putting a thumb on the scale or just the way the ball bounces but sucks for this team either way. Good bunch and fun to watch.

Only suprise to me is that the Stanford player on 2nd didn't wait halfway to see that ball get through b4 she took off.

Bre is probably more comforable at 3rd but she's in the best spot coach can find to keep her stick in the lineup. Errors happen, howling wind can make a fly ball near impossible to catch. the home team was in East Jesus with a field next to a cow pasture you could catch a live stream. Top tier travel tournaments are streamed. Heck, low level travel tournaments are streamed. High School games are streamed. Pee wee games are streamed. There is no excuse for not streaming all these games. ...I feel better now that I've gotten that off my chest.

That catch tag wan't an error it was just a 50/50 play that we didn't make. After the runner was on third they rolled the lineup and were off and running. This was a meltdown on the mound that the D wasn't able to stop. SS should have conceeded the run and gotten the out but hell, you gotta go for the glory, right?

and then everything has rolled downhill from there. Hopefully she can grow from this and will be mentally stronger in games/years to come but this team neads a bellcow and Emma isn't that just yet. Hoping the bats will come alive in the bottom but can't help but feel like this ship has sailed.

can get this time. The team is 1990ish but the VT brand is much better than back then so the hill might not be as steep. But if it is, I'm fine with that too. Let's just get back to the blue collar physical team that none of the blue bloods want any part of. We do that, and I'm a happy fan.
