Posting History (323)

I thought he was going to try to throw it

And was in disbelief when he just tucked and ran for a yard

Hilarious to hear announcers

Talk about how meaningful this bowl game is when they spent half the time putting mayo on random foods to see who throws up first.

It’s been bad on offense but that was

Truly embarrassing. Announcers giving credit to Minn D….did they see our play calls

Announcers. No the reason we are here

Is not the UT FG miss. It’s the obvious attempt to keep an SEC team going The aren’t even trying to hide the cheat anymore.

These refs are in Washington’s pocket. Wow

And UL still found a way ** Edited by Hokie Lane at 12/31/2024, 5:41:39 PM

I don’t get it. It’s a game and something to

Look forward to which helps us forget the things we do dread for about 3 hours. I get to watch with my kids and enjoy that time. Interesting that in a situation where somebody has a choice to do something that they dread vs anything else…they would choose to do what they consider dreadful.

You have me confused with those who think

Refs have it out for our team….vs bad calls that’s suck. I don’t see anything wrong with a coach acknowledging it and telling the team to put it in the past, like a bad play or turnover.

Hope so too which is why i said

I hope he says we are on the short end but to move on. I guess you view that as b****ing?

Hope pry at halftime said, you guys are playing well

We are on the short end of some bad calls but go out there and finish this.

I don’t remember claiming that was acceptable.

And note, this was less than that against a subpar D If you are thrilled with this win, that’s great. Not telling anyone how to feel. But this was very concerning to see such a poor outing, especially getting the ball twice on the plus side of the field to put the game away and couldn’t.

I’ll take a win everyday

But about 250 yards offense isn’t competent against this D

So many things factor in. Nobody expecting him to throw

70% but for announcers to claim he’s had a great day at less than 50% against a D applying no pressure is a false statement. That’s not to say he he can’t win because our offense is a joke today and failed to out this away multiple times.

I have no idea why people think that

Our offense had several tried to put it away but couldn’t. They should be embarrased

I disagree that he can throw it.

His passing has been way off with a few connections. Just because he can throw is hard doesn’t translate to throwing it well. Isn’t he like 6 for 20

Dude is missing tons of throws.

If they had king we would lose by a good bit I suspect. Offense should be embarrassed. 223 yards so far

Yea but don’t give the refs a reason.

Bowl them over and let that do the talking. Ref has already told one of our guys to settle.

Hopefully our players can stop

Jawing. So many times we are getting into their faces after the play. Clean that up in the second half before they start calling it

That’s what they do to everyone.

Nobody sacks them because they run and pass in seconds. It’s not about their O-line

I agree. I wonder if any actions

We’re taken against Texas fans seen doing that. Same thing when fans throw snowballs or anything in the field. It’s ridiculous. Imagine if one of those hit somebody. Could seriously hurt someone.

Well we want to play against their

Best and anytime this happens to a player it sucks. Pyron not nearly as good as Haynes now; and yes he beat us a few years ago that was with grant wells and a train wreck of a team and we lost that game by 1 I think. Hoping that Haynes can go so we can get their best shot….but I do agree whoever goes, VT can still screw this up.

Heard prices have been slashed to allow

More people to have bottles ready when needing to overturn bad calls.

No they cannot. The next snap relates to a play

On the field, not a flag. A spot, yes. A call of catch/non catch, yes A flag, no.

UGA threw a pick and Texas took it

Inside the 10. Huge momentum changing play. Refs called def PI on Texas. It was an awful call. Texas fans, coaches lost their minds UGA lines up for next play. Texas fans start throwing bottles onto field. Things stopped, then cleaned things up. Then about 3 minutes later the refs said, we have decided it wasn’t PI. They basically said we know we can’t do this but we are going to.

They had moved the ball. UGA was lined up

Go back and watch reply. UGA was lined up and then things stopped because of the bottle. The only flag that can be reviewed is targeting.

That may be why they did but again

They can’t do that. The rules don’t allow it. The call was made, UGA was lined up at the new spot ready to run a play. It was done. Then bottles on field, they then did an on field review (not allowed) and changed it. And to be clear, I don’t have a horse in this race.

But it’s against the rules what they just did

It wasn’t like they conferred after the flag and picked it up. They made the xall, it was done….then overturned it based on fan response delaying things.

Sec brass will spin this away from

Incompetence and talk about how great it was they made the right call, even though at that point the rules say you can’t do what they did.

Terrible call to start with but it was made

And they needed to own it. But then the fans throwing things on the field made them reconsider. That is a disaster.
