Now that we see what responsible recruiting of Virginia Is can we now acknowledge what a total incompetent recruiting strategy FuENTE had. I am at an utter loss to believe how he cloud think he was doing the right thing. He should never be given a head coaching job again. I defended that moron for years. I apologize to you all for my incompetence and inability to recognize how truely aweful he was at the job. (yes its Uncle Hecklin and yes it has been years since I last posted)

No Coach could do much better. Our O-Line are boys among Men. Our QB losses his ship for no reason at all and makes horrible throws. The D is making bone headed penalties (maybe we blame the coaches for lack of discipline) Yea.. We suck ... but I think Pry focusing on recruiting Va is going to work. Its not the Xs n Os , its the Jonny'es n Joe's.

I bet you werent. Beamer sucked his first 2 years . He was told if he didnt change his defense he was fired . Phil Elmasion came in and saved the program. And Yes... I was there in 87 , 88, 89.. Pry shows promise. And if you talk to kids in Va ( I do) Then you will know VT is just another team, Right there with ASU,JMU, LIBERTY...And yes Fuente did that. digging out of that hole will take time.

And Frank had more talent than Brent Pry has. The penaltys are on the players. Grant wells over throws are on a QB not able to play D1 Football. An O-Line thats not ready for D1 ball. Defense almost all graduated or transfered. Fuente was a waste of time and wasted the goid will VT had with VA coaches. So now we are behind in the recruiting game.
