Draft Prospects: Why no respect for Tuten
At this point of the season, was curious which players were receiving any draft buzz. Was poking around the site below. Why doesn't Tuten get any love? Might have missed it, but he's not even listed.

Adjustment vs Talent - Are the guys not where they're supposed to be...
I'm not knowledgeable enough to know the answer. I remember in '93 when Beamer would run it on 3rd and long. Felt like it wasn't cause he wasn't creative enough to call a pass play, but we didn't have the talent to be successful. A safer play.
Are we not adjusting or do we not have enough speed and talent? Are gaps not being filled?

Iâm no expert on fashion and intend no shaming, but is there some athletic reasoning behind these shirts? They kind of feel like sports bras.

More Crystal Balls for Cole to Georgia...competition question
If that plays out, they are pulling the top two LBs out of VA. I don't know their roster, but they must be loaded there? Seems like Cole has so much buzz that the competition won't deter him, but just surprised to see them pluck two from the same position out of VA.

Too close to home? Re: Chris Cole
Was looking at recruiting and noticed Chris Cole is fairly close to Blacksburg.
While every recruit is going to be different, I'm wondering if there's such a thing as too close? College is a time to go spread your wings and experience life. Sometimes there's a freedom between 40 min away and 4 hours away.
Are more sought after recruits sold on leaving "home" (VT's big selling point) and experiencing something different?

I love how Williams is really recruiting hard for us...but
it reminds me a bit of when that Davis kid out of TX was doing the same thing and got frustrated when he couldn't sway kids.
With Williams being local, I sense it's a different situation. He seems to have a lot more help in many different ways.

Back in early 90's, the team team was not great. We'd get there at 8:00 min into the game and leave in the 4th quarter when we were down 20 and the bag o'whisky was game.

Covid hangover effecting 247 VA Rankings?
Glad to see the Hokies doing much better in the state.
Looking at the 247 Rankings, it appears like some of the top 10 aren't getting the offers we normally see. But maybe that's just my casual observer's perspective.
I know Covid really made it hard to evaluate the last two classes fully. Is that still an issue or are things back to normal? Knowing full well that some would debate the stars system is often off. And I've seen Chris say that the VA top 10 has had more misses than successes lately.
Who from this year's top 20 are you really coveting? Cotman seems intriguing. Rojas never seems a possibility.
