I think our options are getting small and it will be Quinn.

We probably called Lyle Hemphill but couldn't compete with Texas A&M and were too late to call Josh Aldridge. At this point we will see who the UVA Wise DC is and go with them.

Do you think that we have not hired a DC because..

Do you think we have not hired a DC because we are waiting for a buyout date? Do you think we have a guy we are waiting on or is it because we are swinging and missing? Could our guy be coaching in the NFL? What is the buyout date for most coaches?

There are already about a thousand lawsuits.

The NFL does game checks and bonuses for playoffs and the Super bowl.

What do you think about Cam Newton saying to withhold NIL for opt-outs?

Cam said we have gotten so far away from the "student-athlete" mindset that we need to have NIL contacts and bowl game participation needs to be included. I think that's a way to make them more competitive. There will also need to be a rule that if the coach leaves, it voids that requirement. I just want the opportunity to see VT at full strength playing some of the matchups we get during the bowls.

Is NIL the problem?

I think NIL is a good thing. But, there are not enough rules and guidelines. Also, we wouldn't complain about NIL if we as a fanbase had the money to spend. NC State's Mens Basketball loves NIL. Kentucky's WBB loves NIL. Miami Loves NIL. But as a fan, I don't want to pay a player "NIL" for them to leave after a year.
