Congrats @vt90 beats @Tank on a tie break

Great first tournament @VT Pops led most of the day and faded with Aberg.

What an embarrassing mess of a performance that was can we stop the

Phil for coach talk FFS, they were sloppy and unprepared. Drones is awful for a $1M player. Just when they suck you in they **** in your mouth.

Drones is happy to collect NIL money and hopefully a degree

Nice start to life to have a couple hundred thousand in the bank, at least I hope that is the case. All of this NIL money will change the trajectory of a lot of young people's lives. Glad they are getting it and not the schools.

Hey recruit, how about some hotwife action?

For the young women yes it does matter

How do you like it if your daughter was swimming against the male athlete? How’s that fair?

If Az St can do it so can VT

Pry needs to get out of the way and find some good coaches and a game manager.

Let this sink in.

ACCFB schools will get $17M a year until 2036. LOL who negotiated this??

ESPN and Fox hold all the power - they like it as-is

They get all the games and don't have to pay more money out. Nothing will happen until all these contracts expire in 2031-2033. By then VT will be a shell of what it used to be. ESPN actually owns the SEC network. B10 - 71M per year per school SEC - 55M per year B12 - 22 million per year ACC - 17 M per year (2036)

They should’ve kept the seedlings as is

The conf champs can be given a spot but the fake elevation because of that is what messed it up. Oregon got screwed and Penn St got a gift. They should also reseed after the first round like the nfl does. ** Edited by EmpireHokie at 1/3/2025, 1:20:32 PM

Yep this meant to be below**

They created the polls there needs to be some point of reference

And agree Boise is good but who else did they play? How would they do in the SEC?

They do that to prop up the non B10 SEC conferences with artificial

importance. How to you move someone from 12 to 4 "because they won the B12". That is laughable.

That would be more fair for sure

And to think these dopes are running a multi-billion dollar enterprise. Athletic and college admins. Nice. ** Edited by EmpireHokie at 12/23/2024, 3:03:22 PM

Yeah I stated that - I'd be pissed if I were Oregon - now Penn St

will likely get through. I don't think Oregon will beat OSU twice. Oregon should've played Indiana or Boise. ** Edited by EmpireHokie at 12/23/2024, 2:58:39 PM

I actually have no problem giving the P2 the top 4 seeds

In this scenario you have B10 vs B10 in one semi and SEC vs SEC on the other is top seeds win. Then you'd have B10 v SEC in the championship. They were trying to project the lesser conferences for sure but now you have a jacked up quarterfinal. ** Edited by EmpireHokie at 12/23/2024, 2:54:29 PM

It's probably been discussed so apologies to the board police to post again

But they really screwed up by automatically giving the bye to the conference champion. It makes no logical sense to do that. Boise vaults 6 spots to 3 and Az St 8 spots to 4. You can't do that. In addition they move the seedings drastically. You can't do that either. Two critical errors. Idiots running the show. The final poll is: 1 Oregon 13-0 2 Georgia 11-2 3 Texas 11-2 4 Penn State 11-2 5 Notre Dame 11-1 6 Ohio State 10-2 7 Tennessee 10-2 8 Indiana 11-1 9 Boise State 12-1 10 SMU 11-2 11 Alabama 9-3 (out) 12 Arizona State 11-2 Clemson is 16 Clemson should have played ND and the winner gets Penn St - this would have been a better game Az St should have played Ohio St with the winner getting Texas (Texas Ohio St would have been epic - Az/OSU likely a blow out as well) SMU should have played Tennessee with winner getting Georgia Boise St should have played Indiana with the winner getting Oregon I could understand giving the conference winners the home game. Now you have Penn St playing Boise and Oregon having to play Ohio St - that's outta whack! ** Edited by EmpireHokie at 12/23/2024, 2:50:37 PM
