IMO these are our weakest positions, would really like to see some development here in the spring. Rudolph has me feeling really optimistic about the OL which was my biggest worry

Looks like Kentucky has used all their Scholarship, so Duke is the only big money team left but he won’t get any PT with them

Yes the transfers in are better than the guys who transferred out (minus Chaplin and Moore) but the transfers in and freshman won’t be as good as the seniors leaving. APR, Tuten, Lane, Felton, Gosnell, Peebles, Jenkins etc. Honestly we could be better in the secondary, linebackers, TE’s and possibly QB if Drones is healthy and can improve. I see a step backwards with this roster on the OL, DL, RB, WR. Hopefully we can find some experienced Offensive Tackles in the portal if not Coach Moore will have to coach his butt off. We also really need a really good Defensive Coordinator to take a step forward

Or a coaching hire! But a big time OL commit would be best

Any behind-the-scenes news on these two guys? I’m hoping they use their extra year of eligibility.

With Canteen hitting the portal I think Lovett would be a good fit here. He seems to be a big hitter already. What do yall think?

Sonny Dykes first season at TCU… National Championship runner up! Mike Elko, First season at Duke, 9-4. Pretty sure there was a lack of talent at Duke! Lol and he hit the portal hard and maximized the talent of the guys he had. I really like Pry but these guys proved you can win right away and don’t have to “rebuild”

Heading into the spring I wasn’t worried about our guard positions with the younger Moore and veteran Senior Jesse Hanson. Not to mention main back up at guard and tackle last year Bob Schick. Chaplin doesn’t play bc of injury in the spring game and another red shirt freshman Brody Meadows slides into the starting LT spot. My thought immediately was “We need a left tackle!” But from all my understanding the coach’s are only going after Offensive Guards in the portal. Would love to get some thoughts and opinions on this…

Conner just got drafted in the 4 th round by the NFL champs. The chiefs Looks like DE Kyree Moyston hit the portal today Also App State transfer IOL is locked in with VT

He got MVP of the spring… so why wouldn’t we want him protecting our Qb’s blindside in stead of a redshirt freshman? Thoughts?
