Think about Hooker when he was at Tech vs when he was at Tennessee. Or think about when Jerod Evans told Fuente he was one and done and Fuente never believed him and was never prepared for it.

Lots of sites have the same problem.
I don't see why Google can't put it in their ad code. Have the ad script cache the size of the ad and then reserve that space first thing. Then go load your dynamic content.

I wonder if the payments over time would have meant he had to offset it from future earnings? (In other words, if he takes $15 million or whatever spread out over 5 years or whatever, but then someone wants to pay him $3 million to be a head coach, does that mean he loses the buyout?)

It was a joke - you can only collect unemployment for 6 months generally
I believe it was extended for Covid, but that's over now.
But in any event, no, failing to do the job to the satisfaction of your employer does NOT disqualify you from unemployment in Virginia. If you are fired because you stole money or because you punched your boss, then you don't get unemployment. If you were fired because you're just not very good at your job, you can get unemployment.
Did Fuente bother with jumping through a bunch of hoops so he could get $300/week? Probably not. But he would have potentially been entitled to it if he had wanted it. (Then again, if his buyout was considered severance, then maybe not? But that would only be because of the buyout - not because he sucked at his job.)

Yeah, yeah, I know it's Commonwealth. But there's also a common wealth of pain to go around Marty Smith's homeland, where UVA snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against NC State via a series of late-game penalties and Virginia Tech has dropped three straight to Pur-don't, In-a-Rut-gers and We Are Marshall. We're all still waiting on the Sandman to enter, but he appears to be taking a nap under an oak tree at Monticello.

That area is prone to flooding. I have no idea what it is like now, though
I saw where they announced thst they would not allow outdoor tailgating, which I imagine is an effort to keep the crowd down. (When you are ODU, the actual football game is far, far, far less important than the tailgate.)

If UVA were to decide not to reschedule the game ...
I think we should schedule someone just for the practice. AFAIK, nobody is available this weekend. But we could schedule a game the following week (or any time really).
Akron and New Mexico State both have only had 10 games (with game #11 this weekend). Akron is bowl ineligible and NMSU will be after they lose to Liberty. Also, there are some bowl ineligible teams that played @Hawaii, but only played 12 games. They should be able to schedule a 13th game. (Vanderbilt, for example, if they lose to Tennessee, will be in that boat.)
We could essentially schedule our own bowl game if we wanted to and use it to get the bowl practices.
